Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Christianity is called the great confession (Hebrews 3:1; 4:14). We say the same words or say the same thing in agreement with the Word of God. The expression “let us hold fast our profession or confession” literally means “let us stay fully committed to saying the same thing in agreement with the Word of God, that is, saying God’s words”, about salvation, healing, faith, righteousness, holiness, provision, protection etc.
Jesus Christ is the High Priest of our confession. He is the Word of God become flesh (John 1:1-14). As we confess the Word of God by the power of the Spirit of God in us, we are confessing Jesus Christ.
He came to make Fellowship between God and man possible. He came to bring us into a relationship with God and It’s a living relationship. Ones you come into this relationship, everything changes for you. Until you know the reality of this relationship you are in religion, you are practising religion, including religion Christianity, which is not consistent with the reality of Christianity.
Following are more of what Christianity is:
1. Christianity is not a religion, but a family relationship between Father-God and His children. It’s a living relationship between God and man
2. Christianity is the Revelation of the divine-human relationships. It is God alive in a human being, the pulsating life of Christ in a man.
3. Christianity is not a science any more than a human biological or natural family is a science, but it is based upon scientific facts.
4. Christianity is the demonstration and display of the virtues, and perfection of Christ in the earth.

5. Christianity is the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Saviour and the confession of Him as Lord.
6. Christianity is the reality of Man’s Redemption, Reconciliation and Union with God.
7. Christianity is the reality and manifestation of the life and nature of God at work in a human being. It is Divinity at work in a man.
8. Christianity is walking in faith in the Word of God.
9. Christianity is walking in the God kind of love
10. Christianity is the walk of righteousness and holiness.
